Refund & Returns Policy

🛍️ Affiliate (Consultant) Orders & Commission Policy
The Apothecary Cabinet is an affiliate-based company, which means commissions are paid on qualifying orders.
- If an order placed through a Consultant is returned, that commission will be reversed from the Consultant’s account.
- If the customer opts for store credit instead of a refund, the Consultant will keep their commission.
📦 Returns: General Policy
All return claims must be made within 3 days of delivery — no exceptions.
If you’re unsatisfied with an item, contact us using the Contact Form within 3 days of delivery to request a return. Once the item is received, we’ll process your refund.
💳 You may also choose store credit to use on something else—just let us know in your request!
🚫 Non-Refundable Items
We do not offer refunds under any circumstance for:
- Consumables (Drinks, edibles, bath products, Supplements, etc.)
- Undergarments
- Jewelry
🔁 Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you ordered the wrong item:
- Return it according to the process above
- Wait for your refund
- Reorder the correct item separately
📸 Damaged Orders
All damage claims must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.
If your item was damaged in transit, we will initiate a loss and damage investigation. After approval, a replacement will be shipped using the same shipping method from the original order.
📷 We require photo evidence of:
- The damaged item(s)
- The shipping box with damage visible
- All original packaging
⚠️ Please do not throw away any items or packaging. You may be asked to bring the full package to your local post office for inspection.
Failure to comply will void your claim.

🚫 Refused Orders
If an order is refused and returned, you will be charged:
- Return shipping
- A 25% restocking fee
We also reserve the right to bill your account for any shipping fees billed to us if a package is returned or refused without prior approval.
☀️ Summer Heat & ❄️ Winter Cautions
Please order wax tarts and wax-based products at your own risk in warm climates. These products may melt or become damaged in transit.
We will not replace or refund wax products damaged due to heat.
To prevent issues:
- Make sure someone is available to accept delivery
- Let packages warm up naturally before opening in cold weather
⏳ Backorder Policy
If an item is on backorder, we’ll ship it as soon as it’s back in stock. If the value of the item is under $5.00, it may be canceled from your order and noted on your invoice.
Backordered items usually ship within 10–30 business days.
