Plant: 1/2″ deep

Space: 18 – 24″ Germination: 5-14 days

Maturity: 110-130 days

Soil: moist, well draining, warm soil

Hardiness: Zones 3-9

Instructions: Start seeds 6-8 weeks before you plan to plant them outside. Seeds need temperatures around 65-80ºF to germinate. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm and free from danger of last frost. Harvest sponges when luffas are brown and dry on the vine.
