Solanum Lycopersicum Annual
This sprawling plant yields big quantities of 1/2 inch dark purple- almost black fruit, indicating that it is rich in anthocyanins. When fully ripe these tomatoes turn red where the fruit was shaded; and purple/black where the fruit has received the most sunshine. This beautiful fruit is luscious, sweet and flavorful.

Transplant from containers after last frost. Plant deeper than they were growing in the containers as it makes a stronger roots system. Space 24-36 inches apart 6 weeks before last frost. Provide 75-80ºF soil temperatures.
Sow 2-3 seeds per cell/pot, thin to the strongest seedling or use the 20 Row seedling flat, transplanting into individual pots when seedlings get their 3rd set of leaves. Sow outdoors only in areas with very long growing seasons. Sow after last frost.
